Protection of your privacy and your personality rights while you are visiting our platform is very important to us. While you are using our services, certain personal data (“pd”) which is specified in more detail below is collected and used. pd is specific information regarding the personal or factual situation of a certain identified or identifiable natural person (person concerned). By way of this information on privacy and data protection we would like to describe to you our efforts to ensure secure, reliable and trustworthy handling of your pd and explain to you how and for what purposes we use your pd.
We comply with the applicable statutory data protection provisions and take any measures feasible for us in technical and organizational respect to ensure best possible protection of your pd.
We, best boys tv-factory GmbH, are the responsible entity in terms of data protection law as regards the use of your pd. If your personal data is disclosed to other enterprises in the context of the processing described hereinafter, this is done in the context of contract data processing (§ 11 BDSG – German Federal Data Protection Act). The statutory provisions to be observed in the case of contract data processing are observed in all cases.
Use of the data
We, best boys tv-factory GmbH, only collect, process and use a customer’s pd without the customer’s further specific consent if and to the extent that they are necessary for the conclusion and execution of the contract and for accounting purposes. Collection of pd means procurement of pd directly from the person concerned. Processing comprises, in addition to the storage and deletion of data, also the alteration, blocking and transmission of personal data.
Use of data refers to any use of pd other than processing. We are entitled to provide information to criminal prosecution authorities or law enforcement agencies and courts for criminal prosecution purposes only in accordance with the appropriate statutory provisions.
We may analyze and use, either by ourselves or through third parties by way of contract data processing (§ 11 BDSG – German Federal Data Protection Act), the master data and traffic data relating to the customer for our own market research purposes. The customer may oppose and prevent such an analysis and use by sending an email to kontakt@bestboys.tv.
Master data
Master data is pd that is necessary to enter into or change the contractual relationship between us, best boys tv-factory GmbH, and the customer. They include, amongst others and depending on the service used by the customer, the name and address, corporate name, telephone number, email address and payment data of the user. We will only disclose master data to third parties, if this is necessary for the provision of the service in question. We will only process and use master data for advertising purposes, customer advisory services or our own market research if the customer has consented to such use beforehand. We reserve the right to disclose and transmit pd in the context of activities performed by credit inquiry agencies such as Schufa. Credit inquiry agencies combine pd from various sources and pass them on to third parties. We are obliged to provide such credit inquiry agencies with the data required.
Traffic data
Traffic data is data collected, processed or used in the context of provision of telecommunications services. We resp. a third party engaged by us for the provision of such telecommunications services collect/s traffic data to enable use of such services and issue of the invoice for the customer concerned. Generally, the following data is collected: date and time as well as time zone of the beginning and end of the use, volume in bytes, IP address and type of the telecommunications service used. The aforesaid data is stored in accordance with the statutory provisions and deleted thereafter. We are allowed to use, store and transmit traffic data if and to the extent this is required for the settlement of accounts with other enterprises or other service providers or by statutory provisions.

Cookies
We use cookies in several places. Cookies are small text files which are placed on your computer, stored on your browser and which enable the analysis of your use of the platform. This is meant to make our service more user-friendly, more effective and more secure. We use session ID cookies as well as cookies for the storage of form data. In both cases, the storage duration is two (2) hours. The customer may prevent storage of these cookies by appropriate settings in the browser software. However, we draw your attention to the fact that, in this case, not all functions of the platform can be used without restrictions.
Google Analytics
On our website we use Google Analytics which is a web analysis service of Google Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses so-called “cookies”. The information generated by the cookie on your use of our platform is normally transmitted to and stored on a Google server in the USA. IP anonymization is activated on this website which means that your IP address is first shortened by Google within the member states of the EU or in other treaty states of the European Economic Area convention. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. Google will use this information to analyze your use of the landing page, compile reports about website activities and render other services in connection with the website use and Internet use to the website operator. The IP address transmitted from your browser in the context of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data. In addition, you can prevent collection of the data pertaining to your use of the landing page that is generated by the cookie (including your shortened IP address) for Google as well as the processing of this data by Google by way of an “opt-out” by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available under the following link:

However, we call attention to the fact that, if the customer makes use of the browser plug-in, the customer will not be able to use the website without restrictions.
Newsletter
After the customer has completed registration, an email is sent automatically to the email address the customer has indicated upon registration. The customer, to receive the newsletter, must confirm the link sent to him with the email. We use the newsletter for our own advertising purposes. The customer will receive the newsletter until he unsubscribes from the newsletter. The customer may unsubscribe at any time, either by confirmation of the “unsubscribe” link that is contained in every newsletter or by revocation of the consent granted. Correction, blocking, deletion, revocation of consent, entering into contact for information on data protection issues
The customer has the right to revoke any consent granted in terms of data protection law at any time with effect for the future. The customer is further entitled to claim correction, blocking or deletion of data. In this case, please send us an email message to:
